The Motlow Bucks will host their final home games of the 2022-23 regular season this week at Copperweld Arena on the Moore County campus. Admission is free.
The Bucks (7-18, 4-12) will host TCCAA rival Cleveland State at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 22, then host non-conference Experience Academy at the same time on Thursday. The final regular season game is Saturday with Motlow traveling to Memphis to play Southwest Tennessee at 4 p.m.
The men's start time on Wednesday is moved to 5:30 p.m. due to the Motlow women's basketball team cancelling the remainder of its season due to injuries and illness.
Motlow's most recent game was an 82-64 loss to Columbia State last Saturday in Columbia. After playing to a 38-38 tie at halftime, the Chargers outscored the Bucks 44-26 in the second half.
Sophomore Brayden Cashion led the Bucks with 14 points, connecting on all four of his 3-point attempts and 5-7 field goals. Cashion also dished out two assists. Mi'Quan Tucker scored 13 and completed a double-double with 10 rebounds. Raymon Adams scored 13 and added four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
Kolbe Gray led the Bucks in assists with six while adding four points, four rebounds, and two steals.
Motlow shot 32.4 percent from the field and 27.3 percent from 3-point range. The Bucks hit 7-11 free throws and hauled in 40 rebounds.

Motlow State Community College competes on the Division I level in baseball, softball, women's soccer, men's basketball, and women's basketball.
