Kolbe Gray and Raymon Adams scored 16 points each and the Motlow Bucks forced Cleveland State into 25 turnovers as the Bucks beat the Cougars 74-57 Wednesday night in Cleveland, TN.
The Bucks (5-12, 2-6) will be back in action this weekend when they host Southwest Tennessee (7-11, 2-6) on Saturday at Copperweld Arena. The women's game tips off at 2 p.m. with the men to follow at 4 p.m. Admission is free.
Motlow had an excellent shooting night in Cleveland, hitting on 50% of its shots from the field and 10-20 from 3-point range. Mi'Quan Tucker, Gray, and Adams each connected on three 3-pointers. Motlow led at the intermission 38-33 and never allowed the home team to capture the lead.
Gray added four assists and three steals to his 16 points, while Adams had two steals. Tucker pulled down four rebounds to go with 11 points. Javon Martin scored seven points with three rebounds and three assists, and Isaiah Curry also added seven points.
