Raymon Adams scored 22 points and pulled down eight rebounds with five assists, but it wasn't enough as the Bucks dropped a 102-72 contest to Dyersburg State Saturday afternoon in Dyersburg.
Motlow (3-10, 1-5) will try to break its seven-game skid when the Bucks host Tennessee Valley Prep at Copperweld Arena Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. Motlow will host Calhoun (AL) Community College on Friday, Dec. 9, with tipoff scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
After leading by 11 at the half, Dyersburg State stepped on the gas in the second half, outscoring the Bucks 55-36. The Eagles won the rebounding battle 42-32 and forced Motlow into 21 turnovers.
Motlow shot only 39% from the field, while Dyersburg connected on 55% of its shots.
Matthew Jones had a solid game for Motlow, scoring 12 points with eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Debron Russell scored 10 points and added four rebounds and two steals.
Mi'Quan Tucker scored seven points with three rebounds, and Brayden Cashion connected on 3-10 from 3-point range for nine points.
