The Motlow Bucks battled to the end before dropping a 97-89 contest to the Chattanooga State Tigers in a men's basketball game Wednesday night at Copperweld Arena.

The Bucks (3-4, 1-2) will travel to Jackson, TN to play the Jackson State Green Jays on Saturday, Nov. 20. Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m. central.

The Tigers (7-0, 3-0) led by only one point, 46-45, at halftime, but outscored the Bucks 51-44 in the second half to seal the win.

Raymon Adams, a sophomore from Lipscomb Academy in Nashville, led the Bucks in scoring with 24 points. Adams also pulled down seven rebounds and had three assists.

Kane Reed scored 13 points and added eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Matthew Jones, Mi'Quan Tucker, and Andrew Lamuno each scored 12 points. 

Freshman Lavonte Harris led the Bucks with 10 rebounds.
