Bucks Pitching Shines in 1-0 loss to State Fair

The Motlow Bucks pitching staff allowed only four hits and one run in six innings of work but couldn't generate any offense in a 1-0 baseball loss to State Fair Community College on Friday, Feb. 10 in Millington, TN.

Motlow (3-5) couldn't take advantage of starting pitcher Nicholas Holbrook's five innings, where he struck out six and allowed just one run and four hits. Peyton Meeker pitched a perfect final inning with one strikeout.

State Fair's lone run came in the bottom of the fifth.

Bucks centerfielder Julius Scearce had three of Motlow's five hits and stole a base. Irvin Hernandez and Kaleb Gupton had singles for Motlow.
